This afternoon we met with Petra and her gorgeous family for a shoot along Thorpe Bay beach, in Southend-On-Sea. Angie had previously photographed the birth of baby Quinn, who is now eleven months old and such a cute little character!
Her parents were in the UK for a visit so came along too. We had a brilliant time, capturing documentary style pictures of them interacting with each other. They even brought a kite and Bentley the dog along with them.
The tide was high and had a bit of life to it, which was perfect for their two older children to play near. The little waves coming in were perfect. Even the granparents joined in for some pebble throwing. The beach huts had a mixture of beautiful colours which worked really well with the balloons they brought with them.
Petra’s request was to have a story of pictures from their time with us, and that is exactly what we achieved. We went home feeling really excited to see the results of our work that afternoon.
